This Oracle SQL course is for complete beginners. Its a live online training that is trainer-led (not a video). Also, it is substantially hands on.

The first 50 minutes of the course is completely free. Therefore if you attend the course and decide not to proceed beyond the first 50 minutes, we will refund your payment, less Eventbrite fees. SQL is the database toolset for analysing, processing and managing data. Although Oracle will be used for delivering this course, trainees will be able to apply the SQL learnt on the course, to Mysql, SQLite, SQL Server and other relational database systems.

Amongst other things, candidates will learn the fundamentals of SQL. This includes how to analyse, create, retrieve, change and delete data.

The following are some of the jobs that SQL is sometimes needed for: journalism, clerical/administrative, accountancy, software testing, data analysis, database development and software engineering. Also, anyone aspiring to become database literate or anyone that wishes to upgrade their general IT knowledge will benefit from attending this course.

The trainer, Ola Oke has been a database developer since 1998. Some of the companies at which he honed his database expertise are Transport For London, Forward 3d London, Societe Generale Tokyo and Clearstream Deutche Borse Luxemburg. Sometimes he provides SQL support/help at .

You will need a computer, good internet connection and a headphone/microphone for this online course. Also, you will need to install Oracle Database Express Edition 11g Release 2
