SQL is the database toolset for analysing, processing and managing data. Although Oracle will be used for delivering this course, trainees will be able to apply the SQL learnt on the course, to Mysql, SQLite, SQL Server and other relational database systems.
Amongst other things, candidates will learn the fundamentals of SQL. This includes how to analyse, create, retrieve, change and delete data.
The following are some of the jobs that SQL is sometimes needed for: journalism, clerical/administrative, accountancy, software testing, data analysis, database development and software engineering.
